What inspires you?

when I was in the museum, I feel creepy of so many objects. It reminds me of I am always easily be scared, I am afraid of so many stuff, I have different experiences towards many things with others, I want to note down the difference and present other how I feel.

What do you find interesting/fascinating/ important?

Explore the difference between people is Interesting. I think my situation is quite unique so it would be fun to let others experience that and see how they react.

What do you like to observe? What do you like to experience?

I like to observe people, people's feeling, experiences and stories. I enjoy to work alone at cloudy or rainy days, with cool weather and music that I like.

Which artists or designers are you interested in or admire? Why?

I like lots of artists, everyone who give their own outlook on art count. For instance, I like Marcel Duchamp, he really free art and shows art could be everything; I like Joseph Beuys, I agree so much with his saying ' living in the world is doing a social sculpture'; I like moebius, Isabella Cotier and Brecht Evens, they all effect my style, my painting some how.

Which artists do you know in your discipline? What are there themes, how will you find this out?

I know quite a lot illustrator. There is a Chinese illustrator called Jimmy Liao, his work is always painting with the poem he wrote. Most of his stories are from kid perspective, which you can tell by reading few books from him, his poems and stories are really creative, slow and docile. He have a book called Don't Worry, Be Happy!, the concept is a bit similar with what I am going to do next, about the thing bother people , scare people or make people anxious.

What is conceptually and intellectually challenging to you?

I think one thing is there are so many illustration work nowadays, since apps like procreate came out, people can post their work online so easy, it seems like every one could be Illustrator. Moreover the Illustration industry trend to flat and child like kind of style, so it is even harder to tell the different of amateurs work and works been seriously designed.

Another things is the society prefer digital work now. I mean hand drawing normally would be more challenging and show artist true style and skills. But in present, digital work is the most popular one for decorating and commercial use, I think it could be Digital texture is seems more sleek, clean and looks more high-end to audience.
